Nordic Ribbon Star Kit
The perfect handmade ornament…
These folded Nordic stars have their roots in Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. Made with 4 strips of paper traditionally, I started making them with ribbon to use as ornaments, gift toppers, or even to make a garland with. The Studio Carta ribbon included in this kit is lightly starched making it easy to work with for this type of folding. Once you get the rhythm of making these it’s hard to stop and they look so beautiful on a tree!
Each kit includes:
enough pre cut ribbon to make 8 stars
2 yards of both Silver and Gold metallic ribbon to use as hanging loops or a garland base.
a large metal darning needle

Available in four color choices -
Ivory - 8 ivory
Multi - 2 of each color: ivory, chartreuse, sage, and blush pink.
Greens - 2 of each color: ivory, chartreuse, sage, and cypress.
Ivory & Red - 4 of each color: ivory and red.
Each star is approximately 2.5” - 3” across.
